Terms & Conditions 1. A booking is deemed to have been made once a payment has been made. 2. In the event of cancellation by the client/student before the deadlines established for the course, we will refund all fees as indicated here. These refunds are expressed as a percentage of the total course price. Payment processing fees and fees associated with the refund are the resposibility of the client. The refunds are as follows: 1. 30 days or more before course start date - no cancellation charge 2. 20 days or more before course start date - 75% of total course fee 3. 14 days before course start date - 50% of total course fee 4. 7 days before course start date - 25% of total course fee 5. 2 days or less before course start date - 10% of total course fee 3. We reserve the right to alter or cancel any trip. Should a cancellation become necessary on our part, you will then have the choice of taking an alternative workshop (and where this is of a lower price we will refund the difference), or withdrawing and accepting a refund of all monies paid. 4. We are not party to any flight or accommodation bookings you make yourself and have received no payment for the same, we will not refund the costs of your flight or accommodations in the event of cancellation. 5. In the event that a workshop does not meet the minimum number of required participants, all those booked for the course will be notified no less than six weeks prior to the date of the workshop. In the event that a workshop does not have a required minimum number of attendees, we may choose to offer a refund for all monies paid. No cancellation penalties are paid out in the event of cancellations. In the event of unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, such as war or the threat of war, riots, terrorist activity, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disaster, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions we will offer a pro rata refund for all monies paid for the the number of class days impacted by the events. In unforeseeable circumstances, advance notice of cancellation is not possible. 6. We reserve the right to change any of the prices, service or other particulars at any time before your payment to us. 7. If you have special dietary or other requests, you should inform us of these prior to payment. We will advise you if such requests will be met. 8. Flight booking and accomodation booking is the client's responsibility and we are not responsible for any expenses, loss or other damage caused to you by the acts or omissions of those providers. 9. The type of trips we offer require flexibility and must allow for alternatives. For this reason the outline itinerary must be taken as an indication of what may take place and not as a contractual obligation on our part. 10. We do not accept liability for any loss or additional expense caused by delay or interruption to travel services through weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods or sickness. Such losses or additional expenses are your responsibility. 11. We do not accept responsibility or liability for death, bodily injury or illness caused to the client or any other person included on the booking form. 12. The client must communicate any perceived failure in our performance of these terms on the spot to a Staff member thus giving us the opportunity to achieve a satisfactory solution. Should this not be possible, you should make your complaint known to us in writing within 28 days of the completion of your course. 13. It is a term of the contract between us that you will obtain the appropriate travel insurance cover before you arrive. The insurance must cover the loss, expenses and damages arising from, including but not limited to, the cancellation of the trip (whether in whole or in part), personal accident and injury, medical and repatriation costs (for overseas holidays), loss of baggage and personal money and belongings and flight cancellations and delays. 14. All clients must be in possession of a valid passport and all visas, permits and certificates, including medical certificates required for the whole of the journey and the client accepts responsibility for obtaining the same. All information and advice given by us on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment etc is given in good faith. 15. In the unlikely event that we become unable to provide a significant proportion of the services you have booked after you depart, we will make alternative arrangements for you at no extra charge, or if this is impossible, we will provide a pro rata refund for the impacted class days. 16. By completing payment, you are agreeing to accept all the above conditions. The person who completes the payment does so on behalf of all the individuals included in the payment, so that all are bound by the booking conditions.
